Read a Great ‘Why I Ride’ Article

Top Fundraiser and Team Broadway Captain Fred Gibbons recently published an article in the new fall 2010 MSConnections magazine, describing why he enjoys investing his time and energy into the Bike MS: Valero Ride. You can view his article by clicking HERE and then “flip” the digital version of the magazine to page 38. There’s other great info in the magazine you may be interested in reading, including features on the Society’s 2011 Texas Legislative priorities, MS research conferences in San Antonio and new scholarship recipients.

Sign up for Ride Updates on Your Mobile Phone

Sign up today to receive updates on your mobile phone via text updates. This service was particularly useful last year when flash floods disrupted the ride and we were forced to cancel Day 2  (but that is NOT going to happen this year, we all know that).

You will only receive text ride updates during the weekend of the ride and we will not overuse the service or sell or distribute your number to anyone else.  Signing up is simple: Using your mobile phone, text “RIDER,” “VOLUNTEER” or “CAPTAIN” to 777111.  Standard text messaging rates apply.

Attention Austin Riders!
